DESCRIPTION 

The project goal was to create a new care center centered on rehabilitation without requesting new beds through the moratorium exception process.  In an effort to strengthen the market position of an existing campus with independent living only, Walker Methodist relocated beds on layaway with other facilities in its network to create a new care facility. The project features state-of-the-art therapy center, medical clinic, restaurant style dining with separate bistro, and cyber cafe.
